Concept Behind the Legacy Coin:

At the heart of the design, the iconic Deuce and a Half (Iconically named the 2-ton truck) sits just left of center—a tribute to the past and the foundation for the future.

In the background, the MTVR (7-ton) moves silently across the sands of time, its silhouette fading into the setting sun. A symbol of unwavering combat logistic support, it remains in service until the very end.

The JLTV stands prominently in the foreground, representing progress and the road ahead, leading the way into the future of combat logistics.

Lastly, palm trees frame the design. They pay homage to Florida, our roots, and are draped in a color scheme that mirrors our battalion’s, CLB-451, logo—a fitting tribute coin as its chapter comes to a close.
